What started in 1976 at Cambridge’s beloved Orson Welles Cinema has grown into a 10-day experience known for its quirky engaged fanbase. The festival’s capstone is a 24-hour movie marathon: a ride through retro cult classics, recent discoveries, and surprise gems. Over the decades, it has championed new voices in science fiction while honoring the genre’s weird and wonderful past.
